2018 SUMMER DAY CAMP SESSIONS

Week 1: “We Are the Champions Week”                                            June 11th – June 15th

Come celebrate the beginning of summer as we challenge the champion in you.  Test your skills and participate in our fun fitness challenges, yoga class, foosball tournaments, obstacle courses and much more.  

 

Week 2: “Into the Jungle - Safari Week”                                     June 18th – June 22nd 

This week is all about exploring and going on adventures.   Do you have what it takes to survive the jungle?  Come find out and join the fun by going on a nature scavenger hunt, make a bird feeder, and celebrate your bravery by making edible dirt at our Jungle Jam Party.

 

Week 3: “Marvel Madness Week”                                                    June 25th – June 29th

Explore your super powers this week and get a chance to examine the magical world of marvel characters.  Activities this week will tap into your spider senses and inspire you to create your own comic book character, play comic charades, and so much more.

 

Week 4: “Spectacular Explosions Week”                                               July 2nd – July 6th

Join us as we celebrate Independence Day with a bang!  This week you will be putting science to the test as you make science explode.  You don’t want to miss this opportunity to get messy and fun while getting to learn about chemistry at its best.  (Closed July 4th 2018)

 

Week 5: “Book Worthy Adventures Week”                                   July 9th – July 13th

It’s all about adventures in a book this week.  Campers will explore the magical worlds found in famous stories.  Let your imagination soar as you learn about characters and discover new and exciting experiences. 

 

Week 6: “Raiders of the Lost Artifact Week”                                       July 16th – July 20th

Do you have what it takes to face your fears and participate in raider challenges?  Team up with other campers to solve the mystery of the lost artifact.  Don’t get caught in the booby traps…

 

Week 7: “Splish, Splash, Water Bash Week”                               July 23rd – July 27th

Slip n’ slides, water balloons, and so much more will be the focus of this week.   You don’t want to miss out during this week as campers partake in the biggest baddest water fight ever.

Registration and Fees for Service

Registration Process: A non-refundable $30 fee along with the registration form must be turned in before registration can be completed.   

Enrollment:  Upon registration you must sign your child up for a half day or full day and enroll them by session or specific dates..  If you wish for your child to attend a day that they have not previously signed up for then you will have to call the office to confirm that there is a spot for them.

Sliding Fee Application and Sibling Discount:  To see if you qualify for a reduced fee or discount please call the office at (661) 245-3139. 

Absences:  If your child is absent on a day that they are signed up for please call the office to let staff know that they will not be attending on that day.  You will be billed for all of the pre-enrolled days regardless of whether or not your child attends.

Payments:  Billing will take place on the following days.  Failure to make a payment by the due date may result in the loss of your child’s spot in the program.

Summer Camp Policies and Procedures

June 11th – July 27th  8:00am – 6:00pm

 

Summer Camp Enrollment:  You must submit registration forms along with a $30 registration fee to hold your spot for Summer Camp.  Spaces are limited.

 

Sign-In / Sign-Out Procedures:  All members must sign-in upon arrival with member’s group leader or administrative staff.  Students may not just be dropped off.   Parent/guardian must also check-out the member with their group leader or administrative staff.

 

Early Drop-Off Policy:   Members who are dropped off between 7:30 am – 8:00 am will be charged a $5 fee per day.

 

Late Pick-up Policy:  Our Club closes at 6:00 pm.  There is a 5 minute grace period, following the grace period you will be billed $1 for every minute your child is not picked up after 6:05 pm.

 

Phone Policy:  Please limit calling your children at the Club to Emergencies ONLY.   If you would like to leave a message for your child we will be happy to give it to them.

 

Payments:  The Boys & Girls Club of Frazier Mountain accepts the following forms of payment: cash, check.  When writing a check, please make it payable to Boys & Girls Club of Frazier Mtn.  Please include your child’s first and last name on the check to ensure proper accounting.

 

Camp Fees:  Invoices will be made available on Friday and must be paid in full by the Monday proceeding the next week of attendance.  Failure to pay may result in the loss of your child’s spot in the program.

 

Refunds:  Payments are non-refundable.

 

Discipline Guidelines:  Members who do not follow the Club Code of Conduct will be disciplined as stated in the Disciplinary Guidelines.  There are no refunds for members who are suspended or expelled from Summer Camp.

 

Field Trips:  Field trips are on a first-come first-serve basis, NO exceptions:  Payment for field trips must be paid in full by the deadline indicated on the permission slip.

 

Personal Items:  Please do not allow your child to bring toys, electronics, or other personal items from home.  We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

 

Snack/Lunch:  There will be one morning snack and one afternoon snack provided each day.  Club members are responsible for bringing their own lunches. 

 

Dress Code:  Members are required to wear close-toed shoes.  Members are encouraged to bring a towel, sandals, bathing suit or extra clothes, and their own sun screen for water play days.
