Fire Safety Presentation

Students lined up in classroom in front of firepersons

Kindergartners at Frazier Park School were given a lesson on fire safety that included the importance of making sure smoke directors are working, practicing “stop, drop cover and roll,” letting firemen know where you are during a fire, planning a meeting spot in advance for the entire family, and a question and answer session. Engineer John Nelson, Captain Jason Retzlaff, Engineer Jeff Davis, Captain Elliott Reyna, Firefighter Nate Betz and Firefighter Blake Cowan from E357 in Frazier Park and T55 in Lebec were kind enough to take time from their busy schedules to teach the students about fire safety. The students were thrilled to learn about the fire engine and to get to go inside and check it out! We are very grateful for these brave men and the work that they do.
