Welcome to the Home of the Bobcats
Frazier Park Elementary School serves approximately 250 students in transitional kindergarten (TK) through fourth grade. Located just outside of Lebec in southern California, our backyard is the beautiful Los Padres National Forest. At Frazier Park, every student is a champion and at the core of everything we do.
A Message from Our Principal
Welcome back students and parents!
Welcome back to the 2023–2024 school year! I hope you all had a relaxing and fun-filled summer. I would also like to welcome any new students and families. We are excited to have you as part of our Bobcat family. I am honored to serve as the principal, and I am looking forward to working with the staff, students, and parents and continuing to make our school “A Good Place to Grow”.
Students, you will have great opportunities to make a difference both academically and socially. Achievement and success are yours to attain through a commitment and willingness to do the work. Our talented and dedicated staff are ready to assist you to achieve your goals. With your hard work, and the support of your parents, it will help to put you well on your way to a successful future.
Parents, together we can make this a great school year by making sure your children are in the classroom each day and helping them focus on learning while celebrating successes along the way. I hope to see you participating with your child at the school, attending special events, and being an active member of the PTSO.
I would also like to make you aware of the following:
- The first day of school will be August 16, and it will be a minimum day with dismissal at 1:20 p.m.
- School begins at 8:10 a.m. each day, and we ask that you have your child(ren) here on time each day and every day.
- Daily attendance at school is important for your child's schooling. Each day we teach standards, and knowledge builds. Missing school can lead to students missing work and the practice necessary for their success in school. Life skills are demonstrated, practiced, and refined at school and through school activities/work.
- We know your child will get sick from time to time, and to keep other students from getting sick, and to help your child get better faster, it may be necessary to keep your child at home.
- We ask that you do your best to schedule any appointments for later in the day.
- Free breakfast and lunch will be available daily to all students.
- We will serve breakfast in the cafeteria beginning at 7:45 a.m.
- Parents may escort their child(ren) to class the first three days, however, we ask that you exit when the bell rings.
- Please do not leave your car parked in the drop off lane. It is important to keep the flow of traffic moving.
I wish everyone a year filled with academic achievements, and many fun, memorable experiences, while taking in all that Frazier Park Elementary and the El-Tejon Unified School District have to offer.
Yours in education,
