Boys & Girls Club
The Frazier Park Boys & Girls Club provides daily access to exciting and fun activities during afterschool hours when children are most at risk. Our program is provided at no cost on the Frazier Park Elementary School campus so that all TK–4 students have access to the program.
Daily Schedule
2:00 to 2:30 p.m. – Healthy Snack and Sign In
Each day students receive a healthy snack and juice or serving of milk. After students have completed the check-in process, they begin their daily routine.
2:30 to 3:30 p.m. – Power Hour (Homework Assistance)
We provide the time, place, and assistance to make sure your child receives the necessary tools to complete their homework. We monitor the students and keep a log to help assist in your child’s progress.
3:30 to 4:15 p.m. – Enrichment I
4:15 to 5:00 p.m. – Enrichment II
We provide enrichment activities including
- physical education activities that make exercising fun and encourage healthy lifestyles;
- cultural arts and special events throughout the year to teach diversity and encourage community involvement,
- visual and performing arts activities throughout the year;
- after-school interest-based clubs that let students have a voice in the activities that they want to participate in;
- science, technology, and social science thematic units that let students expand their knowledge and gain problem-solving skills; and
- teaching important life skills.
5:00 to 5:30 p.m. – Mathematics Skill Building
Appropriate grade-level games focused on building mathematical skills and fluency while making math fun!
5:30 to 6:00 p.m. – Group Enrichment (Interest-Based Centers)
These centers allow students freedom of choice to choose what they want to do, such as art, crafts, board games, and more!
Seasonal Sports
Students may sign up for Boys & Girls Club sports programs offered throughout the year, such as basketball, soccer, and flag football.
Summer Program
We offer an exciting summer program with fun, themed weeks. Watch for information during the spring semester.
