On Wednesday, January 12, our school kicked off the new year with a staff appreciation lunch hosted by Superintendent Sara Haflich and CBO Misty Johnston. This new year kick-off also took place at each of our three schools, making sure staff across the district felt valued and appreciated.
At our site, staff enjoyed a tasty spread of Mexican food from La Sierra Restaurant, along with a variety of desserts that everyone loved. It was a relaxed and fun way to start the year, giving staff a chance to take a break, connect with one another, and enjoy a meal together.
The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, and the appreciation from staff was clear throughout the event. It was a great reminder of how important it is to recognize the hard work and dedication that happens every day in our schools.
A great big thank you to Sara and Misty for kicking off the new year in such a thoughtful way and for continually showing support and appreciation for our staff!
