Thanksgiving Feast

The annual Thanksgiving feast in Mrs. Penner’s kindergarten class was a successful event bringing together the youngest members of Frazier Park’s learning community to celebrate gratitude and togetherness. Students had the choice of wearing Pilgrim hats or Native American hats. Students enjoyed a feast of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, rolls, and assorted other items. A few of the students were asked what their favorite food was, and they answered with, “Dessert”. Many parents were able to participate and had as much fun as the students. Mrs. Penner does a week-long lesson to learn about Thanksgiving and all the traditions that are associated with this holiday. Needless to say, the students were stuffed (gobble, gobble). What a great learning experience for all.
