Students Admitted at Ages 4-6 years Need These Immunizations:

Parents must show their child's Immunization Record as proof of immunization.
These immunization requirements also apply to students enterin
g Transitional Kindergarten.

Age requirements for  Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten:

A child shall be admitted to Kindergarten if his or her fifth birthday is on or before September 1st. 

A child is eligible for Transitional Kindergarten if the child will have his or her fifth birthday is on or before December 2.

If your child does not meet the age requirement and turns five after December 2nd but during the school year, and you would like your child to start Transitional Kindergarten, please fill out a registration form, and we will contact you with a decision from the governing board on acceptance of early admittance.

Regarding Transitional Kindergarten:
Pursuant to AB 104, EC 48000(c)(3)(B)(i) a school district may, at any time during a school year (including at the beginning of the school year) admit a child to a TK program who will have his or her fifth birthday after December 2 but during that same school year, with the approval of the parent or guardian, if the governing board of the school district determines that the admittance is in the best interests of the child and the parent or guardian is given information regarding the advantages and disadvantages and any other explanatory information about the effect of this early admittance. Average Daily Attendance (ADA) can be claimed for these students once they attain the age of five (EC 48000(c)(B)(ii)).

       The school is at a financial loss of which is the cost of a new textbook.

School begins at 8:10 a.m. and ends at 2:15 p.m.

Please have your child on campus no later than 8:09 a.m. If your child is late, they must check in at the office.

Parents and students now have the ability to report an incidence of bullying online using Sprigeo.com. All incidences are emailed/text-ed to the principal and administrative designees, and they will be investigated within 36 hours.
