Frazier Park School got into the holiday spirit with its first annual Ugly Sweater Day! Staff and students alike donned their most creative, hideous, and hilarious sweaters for a fun-filled day. While our students’ ugly sweater masterpieces will remain a secret (no photos, sorry!), our staff had an absolute blast voting for their favorite ugly sweaters during the holiday staff luncheon.
Principal Mr. McNelis, confident in his own ugly sweater prowess, “graciously” asked staff not to vote for him, claiming he was merely modeling the perfect ugly sweater (wink, wink!). But in the end, the top three ugliest sweaters belonged to… Miss Mace, whose crocheted masterpiece featured some truly unique embellishments (first place); Mrs. Castillo, whose blinking, lit-up monstrosity took second place; and Mrs. Dominguez, who earned a well-deserved third-place trophy for her uniquely creative and eye-catching sweater. Congratulations to our winners, and we can’t wait to see what next year’s Ugly Sweater Day brings!
