Celebrating Our Attendance Poster Contest Winners!

We are excited to share the results of our district-wide attendance poster contest, where students were challenged to design creative and meaningful posters highlighting the importance of coming to school every day. Their artwork was thoughtful, colorful, and truly captured why attendance matters.

Our student winners were honored in a special presentation by our Superintendent, Mrs. Haflich, who awarded each winner a certificate recognizing their achievement. To make the moment even sweeter, each winner also received a large-size candy bar as a fun reward for their hard work and creativity.

This contest was held across the district, and every school selected its own top posters. Here at our site, the winning posters stood out for their strong messages and artistic detail. These posters will soon be framed and proudly displayed around campus, serving as daily reminders of our school wide attendance motto:

“Attend Today, Achieve Tomorrow. Attendance Matters.”

And to end the week on an amazing note…

We have big news to celebrate!

We just received our updated California dashboard results, and our chronic absenteeism rate moved all the way up to green!
We dropped 10.8% down to just 6.8% chronically absent at the elementary and junior high levels—an incredible improvement.

This is a tremendous accomplishment, and it reflects the dedication of our students, staff, families, and community. Our efforts have truly paid off!

Thank you for supporting our attendance initiatives, believing in our students, and working together to make every day count.
