Miss Mace’s kindergarten class recently visited the STEAM Lab, where they unleashed their creativity and imagination. The young innovators spent the day designing and building their own unique hats using Strawbees.
Inspired by Literature
The creative process began with a reading of “Caps for Sale” by Esphyr Slobodkina. This classic tale sparked the students’ imagination, and they set to work designing their own caps.
A Parade of Hats
The results were nothing short of amazing. The kindergarten creators produced a wide range of hats, from practical helmets and shade hats to festive party hats and outrageously silly hats.
Fostering Creativity and Critical Thinking
The STEAM Lab experience provided Miss Mace’s students with a unique opportunity to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. By combining art, design, and engineering, the students learned to bring their ideas to life.
The kindergarten creators’ hat-tastic designs showcased their boundless imagination and creativity. We can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
