Counting Adventures and Creepy Spider Hats

In Mrs. Penner's class, students work in pairs to match 10 frames, the printed number, and sets of objects. This activity is a hands on approach to working on counting and cardinality skills. After a week long unit on learning about spiders, her kindergartners made spider hats to wear home. Students listened to stories (fact and fiction), sang songs, recited poems, and learned a lot about spiders!
