On a recent day at school, 166 students were treated to a special pizza party with the principal. The reason for the celebration? These students achieved 100% attendance for either December and/or January.
The importance of regular attendance cannot be overstated. By being present in class, students develop good habits, build strong relationships with their peers and teachers, and gain a solid foundation for academic success. Our students’ commitment to attending school every day is a testament to their dedication to learning.
But we know that getting to school every day is not just about the students – it is also a big thank you to our amazing parent community! Your efforts to get your kids to school on time, every day, have not gone unnoticed. We appreciate your partnership in prioritizing education and helping your children develop good attendance habits.
The pizza party was a fun way to acknowledge and reward their hard work. Students enjoyed socializing with their friends and the principal while enjoying a delicious meal.
This special event would not have been possible without the support of our Parent-Teacher-Student Organization (PTSO), school secretary, student success facilitator, and other staff members who helped organize and facilitate the celebration. Thank you to everyone involved!
