Frazier Park Elementary students expressed their gratitude and patriotism by creating handmade Veterans Day cards for service men and women. Under the guidance of long-term substitute teacher Mrs. Moulin, the students crafted personalized messages of appreciation. The heartfelt cards were proudly displayed at the local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) post, where they will serve as a reminder of the community’s appreciation for the sacrifices made by service members.
“This project teaches empathy and patriotism,” said Principal McNelis. “We’re proud of our students for honoring our nation’s heroes.” Mrs. Moulin added, “Seeing the students’ creativity shine through as they expressed their gratitude reminded me of the profound impact small acts of kindness can have on those who serve our country. It was an honor to guide them in this meaningful project.”
The display is a testament to the enduring American spirit and demonstrates the impact of small acts of kindness on those serving the nation.
