Turning Pages Into Projects: 4th Grade Brings Stories to Life in the Bloom Room!

The Bloom Room continues to shine with engaging, project-based learning that brings excitement and purpose into the classroom. As part of a recent novel study, fourth graders completed a comprehensive book project that allowed them to deeply demonstrate their understanding of both foundational and advanced story elements.

Throughout the project, students analyzed key components of literature such as plot, setting, characters, and theme. They also crafted thoughtful, well-written book reviews, sharing their perspectives and insights on the texts they explored.

To extend their learning even further, students tapped into their creativity by designing original book covers and presenting their final work in a unique and eye-catching display using clothing and coat hangers. The final projects beautifully showcased both their academic understanding and their artistic expression.

Looking ahead, the Bloom Room is preparing to begin an exciting new project: Native American Quadra-Rama presentations. Students are eager to dive into this hands-on learning experience, and we look forward to sharing their incredible work with families at the upcoming open house.

Stay tuned as our students continue to explore, create, and grow through meaningful project-based learning!
